“A good dress deserves a better name than "the blue one."
At Femmella, we don't name fabrics - we name feelings. Every collection title is a tiny promise about how it'll feel against your skin before you've even touched it. Here's the decoder ring.
PaperLite Poplin - light enough to forget you're wearing it
100% cotton, 100 GSM. Crisp like paper, cool like nothing. Built for Indian summers that don't believe in mercy. The name is quite literally the fabric's résumé.
TrueStretch - Comfort with a Spine
95% cotton, 5% lycra, 220 GSM. Not flimsy stretch. Not clingy stretch. True stretch - the kind that moves with you and still holds its shape by 6pm.
DenimLite - Basically Weightless, Featherlight Styles
The lightest denim we make. 4.5 oz, soft, fluid, almost weightless. We named it Lite because that's the whole plot twist: all the attitude of denim, none of the weight.
DenimStretch - Bends Without Breaking a Sweat
2–3% spandex stitched into every fiber, so it says yes to sitting, bending, and second helpings. Stretch isn't a spec here. It's a personality trait.
DenimClassic - Built to Outlast Trends
7 oz+, structured, built to outlast whatever's "in" right now. We called it Classic because some things don't need a rebrand. They just need to last.
CloudComfort Gauze - Ultra-breathable fabric equivalent of exhaling
100% cotton gauze, ultra-breathable, with the faintest hint of texture - like a cloud that decided to have a little personality. This one's less "fabric," more "mood."
Ultra-Soft Bamboo - Butter-light Feel
Our bamboo styles with exceptional hand feel like they weigh nothing and hug like they mean it. Ultra-soft isn't marketing here. It's just what happens when bamboo becomes clothing.
The pattern, if you're taking notes: every Femmella name is a fabric's honest first impression - not a spec sheet dressed up in adjectives, but the actual feeling translated into two words you'll remember at 2am while doom-scrolling for your next outfit.
Because the best fabric names don't describe the cloth. They describe the moment you put it on.
